RE: Oh, crap...they dredged up something on my man, Cain!
always going to have someone come out for their 15 minutes of fame....I also have worked in restaurants for years on both sides of the Black tie....this crap happens all the time both real and lies....most times you pay em off its cheaper than a court case and the lawyers know it....
Step up Cain and own it...Face it we will have more respect for you for it....but you all better remember....back when this crap was going on black men didnt get away with this stuff keep that in mind as you spin and spin....... ;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Oh, crap...they dredged up something on my man, Cain!
I remember a nurse who had a crush on a surgeon who filed a false report of sexual harassment on a surgeon who didn't have feelings for her. He left the area over that report, two months later she told friends while at a party that she had lied because he wouldn't have an affair with her. She ended up being fired but the surgeon was forever tainted, for a lie.
I'm not saying these women are lying. President Clinton was accused of far worse and those women were dismissed. One women even accused him of rape and he got away scot free. I like Cain, I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. |

RE: Oh, crap...they dredged up something on my man, Cain!
I seriously think this is going to eventually fade a bit. Think about it. A surprise 'dark horse' candidate whose popularity is matching or exceeding long-term experienced political figures. OH NO - we can't have that - certainly we can dig up SOME kind of scandal !!!!
The latest polls still show him slightly above the GOP favorite Mitt Romney. That has to say something, especially since those polls were taken AFTER the news of the allegations. The biggest problem I have with these women is CREDIBILITY. Seriously - if they had some strength to their accusations, they'd likely want to take it through the legal system. Accepting a settlement - any kind of settlement - casts doubt upon the legitimacy of their claims. Just my opinion. DISCLAIMER: I am not an attorney. While drawing from my professional training and experience in law enforcement and as a former Paralegal, no comments offered should be considered as legal advice. |

I agree completely, and the fact that one of them is talking "through her attorney" but still wants to remain anonymous is highly suspect.

Talking thru her attorney, year admin I heard about that, she is highly suspect. I'd want to face the person I'm accusing and you know, it wouldn't be about my moment of fame or money. When it comes to sexual harassment it would have to be pretty bad to come forward. He/she put their hands on me well that's a whole other matter. I've had that happen before and let's just say he never, ever touched me again. He had a hard time explaining his broken nose to the clinical advisor.

you know this stuff happens and it isnt pretty or nice when it does....alot of young women go along with it or leave...alot of them cry wolf making it harder for those it truly happens to.Its should never be about the money of 15 minutes of fame anyone who comes forward for that you should wonder about......I waited on many a table in my life time and put up with alot of flirting to make tips but only to a certain point at that point I shut it down and quick and very seldom had a problem and a spill of hot coffee took care of the problem..my managers mostly supported the wait staff...if we had a bad manager we went to the Boss fast....what you see in movies is just that made for entertainment when your staff gets together and complains about a manager not doing his job or being to touchy feely the Bosses listen, they cant afford the whole staff to walk out or slow down on a busy night.
