This is merely Procedure #2 in the handbook "How to Derail a Conservative Black Man", otherwise known as the "Clarence Thomas Procedure".

Unnamed accusers dredging up claims from two decades ago. Classic. Clarence Thomas completely derailed the Senate hearings when he came out with guns blazing, calling their hearing a "high tech lynching for uppity blacks". It was nice to watch those weasels squirm, while they got a taste of the race card for a change.

I hope Mr. Cain (who I long ago advised you all to keep an eye on, because his message was sound, and his ideas strong) comes at this thing full bore.

I believe Mr. Cain is hurting himself. He went from complete denial to a single phrase. "sexual harassment". If something did happen back then, in my oppinion, he needs to get away from the single phrase. To many people still remember what Mr. Clinton said on the stand.

I am afraid he is shooting himself in the foot. He needs to have a sit down with reporters and come clean, if there is anything to come clean about.

Now there is a third lady that is talking about sexual harassment. She did not file a suit, so she can talk. Another one that filed a siut is pursueing to find out if Mr Cian violated to confidentailality( sp) of the law suit. If he did, then she can talk.

I am afraid he is screwing up his campaign. Now there is talk that all of this leaked out from Mr Perry's personal. They are deni-ing it. It won't suprise me if it did. That is the type of tatics he used to become the governor of Texas.

Lest we not forget there is money to be made in these allegations. Anonymity only helps stir the pot. Years ago when I was a district manager for a large restaurant chain, I had to deal with that stuff all the time. One employee claimed we violated her rights under FMLA. It was total crap, and I wanted to fight it, but my company settled for thousands because it was cheaper than fighting.

I had managers accused of sexual, racial and religious discrimination. We won every case because they were complete farces, but we spent untold hours and thousands of dollars defending ourselves from baseless claims at the EEOC. in the end, they were disgruntled employees (and in one case a customer, who claimed my Jewish manager discriminated against her because if her religion. She was Jewish) who simply spent a few minutes filling out paperwork, resulting in the potential destruction of good people who had done no wrong.

I am very, very suspicious of things like this.

I completely understand what you are saying Admin. On Thursday one of the women is suppose to give a statement about what happened. When it is all said and done. We will never know what happened.

Regardless whether he's guilty or not, I still like the guy. I'm just disappointed about the way he is handling the situation; it makes me very suspicious - causing me to take a second and third look into the integrity of the man. Will the other shoe drop?
