Extra prayers for my daughter

I mentioned on another thread about the chest pains my daughter has been having.

Denelle is 20 yrs and started this Fall at K-State University she is a pre-vet student.

About a month ago she started working out at the university gym, it wasn't long before she started experiencing chest pains. She hid the pains from me for a couple of weeks although when I foundout about them I convinced her to see a doctor.

She saw an internal medicine docor last week, upon being examined the doctor said she is having problems with the mitral valve not closing and has been having thease issues for about 3 yrs based on the exam.

As I type Denelle is at the hospital having an echo of the heart, she returns to cardio specialist in a week where we will findout the results of the test.

From my understanding there are two ways to treat this condition, the first being medication and the second being open heart surgery.

I am asking members of the forum to say a prayer for Denelle.

The best advice I can give you is to get two different opinions on treatment. This is important when dealing in issues with the heart. We were told that by an ER physician when our oldest was an infant and it's something we've always done when dealing with his heart. If medication is recommended then I would be asking about two trials of a halter monitor to be done. It's easier to monitor the treatment and if necessary adjust medications.
