Just had to share this laugh !!

I usually don't post much about my own WC issues here - very private about personal stuff. But, I had to share this funny anecdote.

In my situation, the ONLY options I have are surgery or PT. I have opted out of surgery at this time, mostly due to other medical concerns that I'll need to hash out with my cardiologist. PT is the only option for me right now, because it serves the purpose of relieving pain (I don't do drugs unless absolutely necessary).

I reached the end of the "course" of PT, and my AA called the WC/CA asking why more PT was not authorized. The CA said that she needed to send my case to UR (Utilization Review). My AA emails me and says ....

"She started babbling about sending you to UR, so I flatly told her she can send this to UR all day long. The Dr. prescribed PT, and that's exactly what you're going to pay for."

Sorry, but I just found this funny as heck. My AA is a freakin' Tiger, I tell ya.
