A productive week
It's been a productive week....may be to much so.

Tuesday I finished the United Way grant for the non-profit I volunteer with and delivered the grant to United Way headquaters.

Yesterday I finished the Charities Auxiliary Grant and got it in the mail.
Then yesterday afternoon I started working on supplies for the United Way kick-off which will be held next week.

Being productive feels good but I am paying for it tonight with severe nerve pain down the arms and the neck pain.

Just wondering how other members of our fourm family are staying busy this fall.

RE: A productive week
Schools keeping me busy. I was taking the last three classes at the community level before I transfer to the University. I had to drop one after I used some choice words at the instructor. Thats OK, I can take that at the University. Anyway the University Physics II and Linear algebra is keeping me busy.

RE: A productive week
AQA how far away from your home is the university?

I have to drive 35 miles to my class, driving causes the pain levels to increase, not good on a test day.

I wanted the social interaction that comes with the classroom type setting, next time I will take an online class as ice storms get pretty wicked in the winter months here.

RE: A productive week
BK, I know what you mean about the travel time.

Right now I am taking a class at one campus that is ten miles away. The other class is at a sister campus that is 22 miles away. Next year the campus will be 25 miles away. I have to schedule my classes so that I do not get caught up in rush hour traffic. Even on a good day, the extra travel time cost me in pain. I truely know what you are talking about.

I have taken a few internet courses. Yes you don't get the interaction with other students or the instructor. You do still learn the same material and still take the same tests. It is just done on the internet and the tests are timed.
