RE: light duty and sent home safty
You need to get your employer to file a first report of injury, if the leg problem is related to work. You didn't really say if you actually injured your leg, or if it just "went out" on you.
Maybe if you provide a little more information, including WHEN this happened. DISCLAIMER: I am not an attorney. While drawing from my professional training and experience in law enforcement and as a former Paralegal, no comments offered should be considered as legal advice. |

RE: light duty and sent home safty
I'm assuming then that you have been receiving benefits for the time you were NOT working ?
You're still being evasive on supplying information. Did you lose any time from work because of the injury ? If so, did you receive any weekly benefits ? If not, and you are out of work now because of the duty restrictions, then the WC/IC (Workers Comp Insurance Company) must begin paying loss of work benefits, but it will depend upon the STATE in which the claim was filed as to WHEN those benefits will begin (average 21 days after the first lost day of work - Date of disability). Those benefits would be paid BACK to the first day you were out on disability and move forward weekly, bi-weekly, etc (depending on your State). By the way, no offense, but you aren't "texting" here - you can communicate (it would be preferred) in complete sentences. DISCLAIMER: I am not an attorney.
