I got the call this afternoon and will be seeing the neuro in regards to my back being totally screwed up on Tuesday the 27th at 8:45 AM. Means leaving home at 6 am in order to make it to Keller in time. The good news is that he is in the same office as my pain management, so they have everything that they need on hand. And if needed, the 2 doctors can consult with one another while I am still there on the best path of treatment, so that things won't have to be delayed in making a decision.

Some prayers wouldn't hurt. I have been in a depression for over a week scared to death of what they are going to tell me. I'm not sleeping good due to anxiety and stress and that is making my pain levels a lot higher than normal. It doesn't help that the scrip for Butrans that pain management gave me last week isn't covered by insurance and there is no way that I can afford to pay over $200 for 4 little patches out of my measely income. So I am trying to make it with just taking lortab. Which never really helped for breakthrough pain when I was getting it 2 years ago.

Hope y'all are having a good week and that the weather we are now getting is agreeing with y'all. It's been great here. Have had more rain in the past week than we have all year. And it looks like our 100 degreee days are a thing of the past.

Prayers my friend. Hopefully your doctors will be able to fix what's causing you grief with little problem. Also praying that they will give you pain meds that will be covered. Each and every time I've had surgery via work comp they don't initially cover my post-operative meds. It's a real hassle and we're never too sure how it's going to spin.
