C_F, I have not but my state is different from yours. Hell Texas should be its own country with the ways it does things. Anyway; what state are you in??

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

I don't think you "win" total disability.
it's more akin to hitting a hay bale then a brick wall; and a long way from taking the checkered flag.

RE: Permenant Disability
I'm in Ohio and just finished my application for permenant total. I wil be dropping the app of at my Att. office on Wed. Once my Temp total is stopped, which could be any day now, they will file for permenant total for me. We will see how things progress from this point. But I would like to know who has been successful at winning permenant total, because if you do win in here they restart your payments and you will receive them for the rest of your life.

RE: Permenant Disability
Wonder myself. Asked my lawyer back when I had an IME and thinking they would stop my TTD and he said they could stop TTD but would have to start paying me something and I don't remember what he called it. Might have been the same a PTD but I can't remember now. Really wonder how this will get settled since I'm on SSDI. Will they pay me PTD or can the pay a lump settlement?

RE: Permenant Disability
Manley2 I to am on SSDI. but my ssdi payments are being offset, but they will be increased after the ttd stopes. But I am more concerned about Peremnant total disability through workmans comp. After my initial injury they wanted to settle but i said no, that was like 10 yrs ago, is this something that will come up again, I do not want to settle and will not settle, I would prefer Perm Total Disability.
