What is one to do?
Injury was in 2005 MARYLAND
Last surgery was 3 yrs ago
Havent been able to see surgeons for 3 yrs ( ins co says no)
I have been in pain - some days worse than normal.
Attorney says let my family Dr deal with the pain.
Family Dr does not want to deal with Workers Comp .
I have only gone to Emergency Room twice for pain- They gave me Diladid shots.
What does one do to get medication?
I am not looking for drugs just something to help on the bad days and nights. This is the forst time I have asked for medication.
I am also concerned that the pain is from something that should be checked by the Drs.
My surgeons have me at MMI per my attorney my appts were stopped by Ins I never got to have that conversation with my Drs.
We are going for a rating hearing in a couple months and Attorney says he MIGHT be able to get me a appt. with surgeon then. Why do I have to wait?
Any advice?

RE: What is one to do?
you don't have to wait.
either party can see a doctor at their own expense at any time.
you should talk to your atty about switching primary doctors.
patients stuck with a doctor they don't want should consider getting a second opinion or switching doctors.
