Battle in Washington continues.....
I am so tired of the Politics from both sides of the aisle. Neither side have the best interest of our country in mind. They act Teenage girls arguing over a damn boy.
Our Country is out of Control. Obama MUST GO! I am a Democrat but I did not come in on a banana boat yesterday. He is a Cancer and has no idea how to run this country BUT many young people will vote for him because he is "Cool". Obama; Get the Hell out of Washington and go to Chicago. Rev. Wright still believes in you.

RE: Battle in Washington continues.....
Obama's ONLY hope is to turn the economy around before the summer of 2012. Problem is he has no idea how to do this. All he preaches is upping the Tax's on the Wealthy. That is all he preaches. Plan not smart.

when you kill off the Krill the whales at the top eventually follow.
we krill down here may be small but ignore our needs long enough and the repercussions get extremely difficult to stop. I expect tomorrows stock market news to be even worse. |

RE: Battle in Washington continues.....
the majority of new jobs created are small business jobs.tax em to high it costs a job...In our small town we have no big company except the local tyson chicken plant and it hires mainly part time...it has in the last 10 years went from 3 shifts 24/7 to 2 shifts 6 days a week sometimes just 5 days a week...everything else is small the last min.wage increase cost a job at the local drive in...money is that tight....in the last year 1/3 of the town has shut down...I have watched this yellow dog town start foaming at the mouth...when they see the only ones able to buy groceries are the ones on stamps,it starts to sink in.when their jobs are leaving for mexico because their union bosses priced them out of the market it starts to sink in....when all the things they worked their buts off to buy are being sold for pennies on the dollar because their house and car put them over the limit to get help but you cant eat that car or house it starts to sink in....But we created a Nanny goverment and we started handing out checks and foodstamps and wic and medicaid and we created a lazy immoral nation that thinks its goverment owes it a living, healthcare, food and housing....but if you go back a little over 200 years those were some of the very reasons we left europe....to get away from serfdom and a king and queen telling us when to squat and owning our very soul yet here we are trying to get ourselves right back in it again....our forefathers would take turns shooting each other if they could see the mess we would end up in after all their hard work.....

RE: Battle in Washington continues.....
angry at others because they are unemployed?!
how small-minded of your town. you make it sound like it's the employees fault that companies go overseas for cheap labor. why heap abuse on the victims? that is wrong. you are looking to blame all those that fall in line with your prejudices. the blacks, the poor, and Obama are responsible for the heat wave--that logic is sick. take your prejudice to another post. |

RE: Battle in Washington continues.....
think you better go back and reread 1171 you are reading something I am not printing.....when a man or woman that works hard all their life cant buy groceries because their job was shipped to mexico where they will work for 3 bucks an hour....we have every reason to be mad at a union boss who held out for 30 bucks an hour and priced us out of the market....
Because they did work for 25 years and did buy that nice house and are upside down on that morgage they cant get any help altho Mr Obama promised it.... Because they do have that nice house that they cant pay the morgage on or the light bill on they are losing everything.....but they still have that big ol house in their name so they still cant get foodstamps so they go hungry.... and that is happening to Black,White,Red,Yellow and Mixed... 1171 it is happening to all of them across the board.....you have to get over the hard on you have for me and just be human for once and look outside at the suffering going on because of the blank check democrats have had for years...We have taught americans to suck at the goverment teat they dont know how to take care of them selves....get off the race card, get off the Politcal card....why do you attack me at every turn? I am a 5 ft 9 in christian female why do I scare you?Is it the cane that I carry? Is it the Bible I carry? My long dress? the veil covering my hair? The Mennonite church I attend just what about me scares you so badly that you have to attack me at every turn?give it a rest please (08-04-2011 06:21 PM)bronco54501 Wrote: I guess I missed somthing.............WOWyes it matters not 1171 hates me I could say icecream is good and he/she would skin me alive...I could say fire is hot and again I would get a reaming.....what can you do.....I believe he/she is just envious of my pot belly, gimpy limp and daily migrain.... ;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Battle in Washington continues.....
We don't understand the complexity of all the budget issues but I do know that we all agree "something" has to give.
At the rate we are going the only ones who will survive are those with paid mortgages, no car payments, no credit card debt, No medical needs and have lots of gold bars under their mattresses to use when our money becomes useless. It's scary times Let Go, and Let God...... |

RE: Battle in Washington continues.....
I understand this Chris as much as it breaks my heart we have no right to send so much food and money to other countries as long as we have homeless and hungry here...we have no right to adopt from other countries as long as there is a child in America that needs a home....We are not other countries big brother anymore we simply cant afford it.We have to shut our eyes and our pocketbook until we have taken care of our own...We have to many going to bed hungry in America while we give away food to other countries or shovel it into land fills its wrong....children sleeping in cars or in tents in America while we build housing free in Africa something very wrong with that....we simply must put our country and our children first...and part of that is making sure they have a future
