More big C
Well I didn't make a post sometime back because it just wasn't what I wanted to do at the time. A few on here knew what was going on and helped with prayer. Jayne posted when I had surgery and that helped with some extra prayers when I needed them most. Well today is a good day to come out and post that back several months ago at age 48 I was told I had prostate cancer. It is impossible to know unless you have been there to know what that does to you. My doctor called me about 7:30 at night to give me the news after a long weekend of waiting for an answer. He was floored to because he had told my wife after the biopsy that he was sure we had nothing to worry about.
Today after my follow up with the surgeon I can say I'm cancer free!!! My PSA is zero and they feel I will not see a return of cancer from this. Need tests every 6 months to check and make sure we stay this way and I still need to recover from the surgery but the road is looking a lot better. Part can take a few months while other parts of the recovery can take up to two years but we will do just fine. I can not thank you all for the prayers because each and every one makes a difference. |

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: More big C
I'm very lucky. In my case and few since my doctor found this I think he is looking differently at this too. when I was set for the biopsy he almost didn't do it because he was sure he wasn't going to find anything. That is why he told my wife after that we had nothing to worry about but then the truth came out. He has now had 2 more cases that were like mine. I believe that God had a hand in them finding this when they did so that the out come would be what it is. Thank you all for the prayers and support. I will always try my best to return it.
