Bugs and insects
are coming in the house looking for water....it is so dry out side here...our pond which is normally 12 ft deep is almost dry the pool filter cup is having to be checked several times a day and the filter turned off at night...grasshoppers are everywhere chickens are happy anyhow and their yolks are a deep orange..(free range not caged chickens)the local news is reporting less rain than the dust bowl days.......
Daniel is Asthmatic got any natural ways to keep bugs out?Orange peels are not working...tea tree oil not working... cuke peelings not working....Boric acid not working ....Dia earth not working....these dudes are thirsty...Bill said he is gonna fire up the well and start watering the ground around the house he hates the cracks and then maybe the bugs will stay in the dirt outside...We are lucky enough to have a deep water well....I guess its still there we havent looked this year.... guess we aught to......any ideas people....rain might be coming in from the gulf....but Texas need it as bad as we do.... ;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Bugs and insects
Jayne we are experiencing the dry conditions here also. Western Kansas gets the rain but misses us in the south central part of the state. We also have grasshoppers every where but no insects inside as of yet.
I have a melaleuca cleaner (non-toxic) that claims if you spray it in the air it repells insects. I've tried it and it works short term. Hope you get the needed rain soon. |

RE: Bugs and insects
Sol u gard, mela magic, and sol u mel are the names. It is non-roxic cleaners, soaps, and other household items. I got involved with the company in 1995 due to my daughter's allergic reactions to a toxic enviroment. I would clean the house and she would have an allergic reaction and end up in ER due to the chemicals in store purchased cleaners.
An example of short term, I will spray the stuff in the air, wipe the counters down in the man cave and no flys or insects for a while, never timed how long. I also have no insects in the house and I clean with the melaleuca products. This is the same company that makes the lotion you like. I order my products online and am a member of the company. |
