well for what its worth im feeling much much betterBig Grin im up to 3 blocks at a time on my cane the swelling is all gone and i believe i can see light at the end of the tunnel!!!!! the surgeon gave me a preliminary rating on my knee of 90% does anyone know how to do the math to convert that to a whole body rating?? YOU CAN FORGIVE BUT NEVER FORGET 9/11/01

ya i checked the indiana web site and the only thing it says about knees is above or below amputations, its just really tough to find a good source of information . thanx for the reply

indiana uses the AMA 6th edition. if your doctor doesn't have a copy a local med school library should.

[align=right]I finally talked to a ombudsman with indianas wc board and they where excellent to deal with took the time to explain the point rating schedule to me. I know money will not fix my knee or give me back this year in my life but its a comfort to know that I will be able to pay my creditors without going broke. My knee counts as a leg above the knee which 45% so .90x45-40.5xdollars per degree. Hope everyone is safe and happy thanks for all the advice and support
