Right now you should be concentrating on recovery. Take care of yourself first, educate yourself in Indiana laws and statutes, and by the time you are rated you will be in a better situation to understand how the system works.

IMO, it is better to go without legal intervention as long as you can. If you are receiving medical and benefits, then relax. Attorneys don't do much until settlement time anyway and most IW's get frustrated because they don't feel their attorney is doing anything.

You can always call the Indiana WC Ombudsman with your questions.

Take care! Tongue

Hi and thanx there's just so much more to this than I realized. Have to have some of the hardware replaced 8-2 and im going to see what the surgeon says about a date I can get back to work, $650 a week just doesn't cover what im losing in wages and finding out it could be 6 months after I return before I settle. I guess like everyone else here money is really stressing me out thanx again for the advice

Yeah money will stress you out if you let it. I came to the conclusion that i will not let it stress me out. I was not born with a lot so i will live everyday as tho it is the last one, and not let money rule my life anymore.

I can relate to the broken front tooth.. When I was comming out of it I was thrashing that tube for I wanted it out, doing so I broke mt tooth. Dont let wc pull a fast one, they are responsable for fixing the tooth...

RE: fair ppi rating and wc settlement
get some counseling for the depression. it can become chronic if left untreated and will slow down your recovery.
