Greetings from the Grand Tetons

Hi All,

For those who can, please, please come to the Grand Tetons. It is so beautiful here, so peaceful, makes me feel closer to God. Yellowstone was just fabulous but the Grand Tetons are beyond description.

We're at Colter Bay campgrounds, the Grand Teton Mountain is viewable from our door. Beautiful valleys, beautiful snow covered mountains (yes there is still considerable snow here, hard winter, more snow than average).

We'll start the trek toward home no later than July 8th, I must be back in Wichita, ks no later than July 14th for a WC doctor apt on my knee. It's a 3 day trip home on a steady but calm trip. Want to go home but want to take our time.

We did have a scare over the weekend, not one I was expecting but when one has a father who is 84 it happens. Bleeding from his intestines, diverticulitus flare up was the final diagnosis. We were afraid of cancer since he's lost weight as the late but no cancer. He's back where he should be, just wish they had given him a unit of blood.

sounds amazing. i have always wanted to go. i know what you mean about "closer to god" i got that from just being on a lake in ontario.....i dont get out much.

Glad your having a good trip, also sorry about his or your dad... My mother has the same thing, very painfull.... I have been out that way a few times but never been there.. We wont be going anywhere this year due to financial and other obligations. But some day I would like to travel that path again...........Enjoy..
