Rainy days......

Although we need the rain, I have been stuck in the house for 2 long.. During the spring we got alot of rain, almost as much as we get all year.. But then it turned the other way, no rain, burned grass, and water in rivers and lakes dropped alot... Now yesterday it started raining, pouring like buckets. Got almost 1 1/2 inches and now today through wed night they are cautioning people to beware of flooding and roads washing out... They predict another 3 to 4 inches between today and tomorow.. Our house is higher elevation, so we will be ok but 1/2 mile down the road is the WI river and the homes are close to water level now... The river is damned and controlled by our local paper mill and already opened it up to prepare for holding...... Problem is the dam is not set up for that amount, so hopefully it doesnt hit all at once......It could get intresting for people below the dam if it were to break....
