going back to work
I was severely cut in the forehead at work . Dr said i could stay home, but i went back to work immediately. I work many sites, and was fortunate to go somewhere they dont require hardhats.dr says i cant wear hardhat for a month. claims adjuster is calling me to see if im back at work. I dont know what to tell him, as i dont want to say im back, then have no jobs next week to go to without hardhats!!

RE: going back to work
First of all you should follow your DR's orders or have them to release you for work.with restrictions because your job don't have to take you back. also talked with a W/C lawyer if you have'nt ,for advice (consult)

RE: going back to work
they'll call your employer to verify.
if they think you are out of work they'll send disability payments. getting payments while you are working is a fraud. |

RE: going back to work
always follow your Drs orders..and always tell the truth to your WC adjuster as long as your being taken care of there is no need for a lawyer... its only if your not being taken care of that a lawyer comes into play
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....
