NH time limit for submiting mileage ?
Hi everyone,

Is there a time limit in New Hampshire for submiting mileage for reimbursement ?

I haven't submited my mileage for the last 5+ years due to a multitude of things going on in my life (medical issues, separation, divorce, etc, etc..).

It wasn't a priority at the time, but a friend said they might not reimburse if it's beyond a certain date.

Is this true ?

Thanks for any help.

no time limit as long as your claim is still open.

I believe my case was closed in October 2010.

Can I still submit mileage from before the date I recieved the letter from the insurance company saying they will not be covering med. & doctor costs, etc. any longer ?

Also, that reminds me, should my attorney have recieved a copy of this letter as well ?

Should I have recieved any other notices (from Workers Comp, the court, etc.) regarding this ?

Now I'm wondering if my case is actualy even closed.

you should contact your atty and work thru them.
when you are represented the atty handles all your comp benefits, including mileage.

Should I try to do this without my lawyer first, then if there's a problem, have him contact them ?

I just hate the thought of paying my lawyer 33%(?), unless it's absolutely necessary (or required), especially with my financial situation being what it is now (in the crapper).

The last time I submited mileage I went directly to the IC, and nothing was said by either my lawyer or the IC.

Any thoughts ?

I didn't think any state paid atty fees on a per transaction charge.
most states there is one fee; once it's paid that's all they get.

sure you can send it to the carrier first.

Really ?

You mean when he got paid in 2004, that's it, it doesn't matter how much more needs to be done in the future ?

Even 7 or 8 years later ?

see LAB 207.01
they are only paid when the court issues an AWARD for benefits not individual transactions e.g. phone calls, letters, forms, emails, etc.
