Severe Weather Today

All day the weathers reports are of servere weather with tornados & large hail expected this evening/

News cast say all school storm shelters will be open to the public. Public safety has been warning the public to pay attention to this storm.

I guess people are paying attention as canellations for events for tonight are already comming in.

My daughter has a friend who lives in a mobile home who is spending the night due to the weather.

I looked at the radar and there is a line of red streaching from Kansas thru Okllahome heading north toward the Wichita area.

Bodybuilder and halftrak I hope you are paying attention to the weather, and Jayne I hope you are okay.

Jayne has her new laptop on her lap weather channel on one tv....radio on local channel and scanner on.....chairs and and blankets and flashlights have all been taken to a neighbors celler.....about as ready as you can get for this mess.....back is tied in a knot......look out Dorthy here we come

I've always wanted to replace our french doors. Well I think it was a straight line wind, knocked one door halfway in. My husband brought home plywood and it's almost re-secured again. Both doors will have to be replaced. EEK, that's like $2800. crap, there goes part of our vacation money.

Them storms dont look very good, be safe and aware... I think this weather this year is a sign... We had 11 tornado's 2 days ago with the storms and high winds... I was just watching NBC and they were showing the damage from one (didnt catch where) but wiped the town and the only thing standing was the church.......Hhhmmm kind a tells you who is in control.... We have had alot of rain and humidity, had to mow 3 times in 1 week but the rich soil helps as well.....

I have always loved a good storm, but not when they take lives.. At least the construction will employ more help, since the economy went down the toilet.. Here, atleast 3/4 of our construction companies went belly up.

So far we have made it thru the storm without damage.

As I type we are having very heavy rain, there will be some flooding with this storm, just hope not my downstairs.
There is more severe weather just south of us, getting ready for round 2.

Oh well that's what credit cards are for, unfortunately. We have a door and it will be installed tomorrow morning. The whole thing will cost us about $950. neighbor had a coupon and he works part time as a buidler

man i wish some of that rain would come by me we need it so bad we have mowed the church one time and ours with the donkey has not been mowed but we need the rain

A few towns in Kansas were hit by the storm, but other than some minor flooding we are okay.
