RE: injured worker wants to settle in CT
got a lawyer to speak for you?

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: injured worker wants to settle in CT
when you are at MMI your TTD will stop.
the employer/carrier is entitled to a second opinion on the extent of any permanent disability.
any settlement will have to be negotiated between the rating opinions or you can have the comp court decide.

RE: injured worker wants to settle in CT
0% means no impairment & fully recovered.
100% means total impairment & no work forever.
additional permanent disability benefits are paid for a fixed number of weeks depending on the rating.
