RE: would you support truth in labels
I have watched them....but in our little area I would have to drive 100 miles or more to find stores that double coupons...and what would I do with 1000 toothbrushes?

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: would you support truth in labels
~L~ Jayne, I'm not that worried about saving the way they do. But it has given me a lot of info on where to find coupons and how many of them organize them so that they are within easy reach when needed. I don't think that there are any stores around us that double coupons anyway. But hey, if I can save a hundred bucks a month, that's more money in my saving account.

And I'm not going to go all out and start stashing unneeded items all over the house. Just if there is a coupon and I need the item, I will buy it. Like yesterday, they had my favorite crackers on sale 2 @ 6.00 (generally 3.99 a box) and I had a coupon that gave me another dollar off the price of 2. Randy's soap was on sale 2/3packs for 3.00 or 50 cents a bar, so I got the 2 packs. The 8 pack was 5.99, or right at another 3 dollars for 2 more bars of soap. They also had the 32 oz gatorades on sale for 69 cents w/limit of 6. They are generally a dollar each with a 10 count limit. But by me buying 6 and Nate buying 4, we still saved right at $3.10. Then they had Oscar Myer lunch meat (1 lb package) 2/$5. I also had a coupon good for $1 off of 2, so it was $4.00. They regularly run $3.99 a pack. So it was like getting one for free. Also, their store brand milk is about a dollar cheaper than the name brand .. and I had a 50 cent coupon for that as well, so it cost me about $2.99 vs $4.49.

I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from going insane.

1 just plain inactive kids...they catch a bus at 7 in the morning and have to sit still and are on that bus till 4 pm...they get home do homework dinner and chores and its dark...so on go the video games or computer it sure isnt safe anymore to let your kids out during the day in some neighborhood during the day much less at night..
2 have you seen the crap they serve in the schools lunchrooms? carbs and sugar.....they say kids wont eat anything else....
3.foodstamps...big baddie here Mom gives kids her card and they go into 7-11 type stores and buy a coke and chips or candy and even Mom when she goes shopping fills her cart with junk food and soda...
4 my biggest pet peave all those hormones meat companys are pumping into the animals to get them to grow fast is staying in the meat and also causing our kids to plump up also.....ie a chicken on my farm must hunt and peck around the chicken yard a full 5-6 months before he is ready to fill a frying pan at 6-7 lbs.....in a Tyson chicken farm its 6 to 7 weeks to get a 7-8 lb bird.....just what are they feeding him? a steer 2 years to grow big enough to turn into good beef steaks..in a feed lot 6-8 months.....a good milk cow 4-5 gallons a day in her prime....in a dairy up to 10....whats in your milk?
I think they need to let kids play and run more...and they need to tell us about the hormones they put in our food sources.....

OF COURSE I DO! But, then again I think if you had to be 13 to get soda life would improve for about 2/3s America's population!

The good news is,"You can get used to anything."
The bad news is,"You can get used to anything."
