Going to court to get TTD
How common is this? Judges rules in my favor for surgery. But respondent refuses to pay TTD so we have to go back to court to get TTD. To me that's a waste of money on their end. They will loose and end up paying more
Can someone explain this insanity to me Bodybuilder1958 |

RE: Going to court to get TTD
BB they will most likely pay the day before surgery.....being a redhead and a witch I would keep the court date just to let the judge know what they are doing...maybe if your lawyer is up to it adding a stress claim because of their BS...I dont know I am getting a bit nasty in my golden years...

RE: Going to court to get TTD
Jayne I had surgery last week. But girl you want to know nasty, my therapist is no more she has been removed from my case. She had the exercise bike set up all wrong. It was to be locked and I got on, waited for her to unlock the peddles and wham, my leg attempted to go all around. That was the beginning and end of my PT today. The pain was unbelievable, so I was helped over to the table for ice and tens unit.

RE: Going to court to get TTD
BB they play those games just to piss us off I think. They try to hang on to every dollar they can for as long as they can. Knowing they will still have to pay up they still try to hang on to it. because the longer they hang on to it the more interest they earn on it. Just get use to the games and beat them at their games.

RE: Going to court to get TTD
Cervical_Fusion I know they try to hang on every cent they can but it costs them money to go to court. Then they pay our costs. Stupid, just plain stupid. Probably start sending the checks about a week before court.

RE: Going to court to get TTD
BB, I got one for you. I have been complaining ever since the Neuro put me on antiseizure meds that I do not feel right and something is terribly wrong. Remember before the injury, I was an avid athlete running 20 miles a week with weight training, BP 120/70. Since taking the seizure meds I have developed high blood pressure. I am in the both the Ortho's and Neuro's office in a hopsital. The Neuro Appt. my BP was 150/100 and said that put me in high risk for heart attack and stroke,a nd telling him my left arm felt weak and tingling. He sends me home and ups my seizure and tranquilizer meds (WTF?). I see the Ortho (treating physician) and my BP is 160/90 and says a little elevated. Again, I am telling them that my arm is weak and tingling. A few days later, I am in the ER for not feeling well. Guess what? I was having a mild heart attack. The ER doc told me to get off the seizure meds quick, because they are killing me. Ortho refuses to treat because of liabilty from Neuro and med cocktails. My attorney has filed for another hearing based on negligent medical care. Talk about being pissed, I am in the process to try and get the doctor's medical licenses revoked. May not happen, but at least I am doing something to stand up for myself. IC claims prior history of heart condition. How did they come up with that one?
