RE: Indiana PPI
Jayne is correct her and I have the same type injurys. I have had 3 disc taken out of my neck involving 2 different surgries. The lumbar i am like jayne the S1 disc is gone and i have 3 above disc that are bad and pressing on nerves. After my first cervical surgery I was given a 25 percent whole body rateing. When I was first rated on my lumbar i was only given a 7 percent whole body, now that is even with the S1 disc gone. Now my lumbar has now been rated at 22 percent and the cervical percent is still at 25 percent. The first time I applied for SSDI in 2003 I only had the cervical injury and I was denied SSDI. Since the first time being turned down in 2003 i have had a second cervical surgrey and also the lumbar injury in 2004. I applied again for SSDI in 2009 and I was denied again, and SSA considered it a new claim for SSDI since the first one was 5 years old. After this denial I filed again at what they called the reconsideration level and I was approved after 6 months. So with all my percentages and surgerys and a library of dr reports and medical files you see i was denied. So my point is I think it will take more than Sacroilitis to meet the definition of social security disability. Weezle735 just imagine haveing pain from the top of your head to the toes on you feet 24/7 , just imagine that and you would see why jayne would make the statement about and aspirin. Just put yourself in that mind frame and visualize the pain her and I deal with daily.

Cervical Fusion 2003, c5-c6. Herniated and damaged Disc L1- L4-L5 S1. Lumbar Spinal Cord stimulator implant 09-2008. Cervical ACDF revision with hardware c4-c5-c6-c7 Sept 2009.
SSDI approved 3-2010. NOW OFFICIALY RETIRED
