RE: dr ordered a fce
I have had many before, but not as intense as this one will be.. This one is a 2 day 4 hrs each day. I just dont know what this will prove as to no one is requesting this be done. Is this the normal step.........? When I went for the IME requested by wc for my hip and pelvis there was nothing mentioned then. He gave his rating and perm restrictions and it was done and over with.. And now that they are not paying the bill, he orders such a test... I'm just worried this will result in screwing with the restriction that are perm already for the hip and pelvis...

Here's a question, I am at perm restrictions for pelvis and hip, 10lb, no squating, avoid twisting, no ladders, avoid steps, no bending past 90 degrees.

Durring the fce can they go beond those restrictions set forth for hip & pelvis.....? The only reason I was off work was due my back...

RE: dr ordered a fce
My attorney called this morning, the fce is needed and says will help my case. He is calling my dr to see what they can do about the costs. I am to wait until he calls me on what's happening.

After talking with him I checked the mail. I recieved a letter from my attorney today stating I need to be more prompt on updating them. Says my case is difficult on how to persue with all my problems going on at the moment... Why in the world didnt he say this on the phone....

I found this letter very disturbing, I have dropped of every piece of mail and called everytime to update on appointments, what the drs say..e.t.c. Many times my attorney is not in, and never calls back so I talk with his aid... I dont know maybe his aid doesnt fill him in, I guess I will just e-mail him if he doent call back, but if he cant be professional about calling back, who's to say he will check his e-mail.....

Bronoco make sure your e-mail settings are set so you received a receipt when the message is received and again when it is displayed on his computer.

RE: dr ordered a fce
unfortunately the atty may not be aware the letter was sent.
if an aide sent it, they may not be aware of your emails.
their file may not be current with contact dates.
might be standard letter that's triggered when a last contact date expires; if they have not recorded all your contacts or dated them improperly a standard letter is automatically sent.

modern offices have a lot of computer generated automation that can be inaccurate.
I would not jump to the conclusion that your atty is unprofessional.
