At MMI Wednesday.....Let go today.
I guess we apply for disability now and hope he gets it?

Not real sure what to do. I'm sure Monday he will apply for unemployment but seems to me, given the company's behavior, they will most likely fight it. At least I will be surprised if they don't.

When lawyer mentioned the civil suit I was against it. My mind is changing fast. Even if repaying WC takes all of it. This whole process is turning me into someone I don't recognize. At least now he can relax a bit. Something he hasn't been allowed to do. Between rehab, ot, pt and work he has been pushing himself nonstop. I guess that's one good thing that comes from his layoff.

RE: At MMI Wednesday.....Let go today.
Oh my. I don't think that will be necessary. Lol. I expected it to happen but didn't think it would be that quick. I still have my job. My daughter was here when he called and was ready to move back in. We may need to make adjustments but should get by. Monday he'll be making calls.....the first one being to the lawyer.

I guess now the waiting begins.

ammowoman, So sorry to hear. I think we all seen it coming with your previous posts. Total caos, it just shows no job is safe and while being injured.. You two take a break, relax and then decide what steps are needed.. I think Jayne has a great idea, hogs..... After watching a episode of Criminal Minds where they were feeding them human bodies, they will take care of it...

Yea we all knew it was coming. They laid two guys off the week before from the shop. He had only worked for the company about 3 weeks before he got hurt. Monday he will make the calls and see what his options are. I may be taking Jayne up on her offer. Its always good to keep your options open. Smile
