RE: dispute dr
if you are disputing the doctor then your claim is not closed.
when they stop paying TTD then they are suppose to send an "End of benefits" notice.

you can apply for unemployment.

RE: dispute dr
I just got something from the wc ins..it is something for long term disability benfits..which is confusing since I have been released by my Dr. with no restrictions and waiting for my work to get with me about what my status is with them..as per my other post. I am not sure what the heck thats all about as I feel I can do most of my job just the part the involves lifting and may need to take break every hour for a minute or two...also not sure why I would sign a release giving them authorization to go into my credit report, tax returns , that is something I dont understand...I dont want to do long term disabilty just want to go back to work, and also not have to worry about future medical..like I said its not a huge issue like some people have but has changed how I do things. Also I have found another job and want to take it what happens then?
Thanks again for any info.

RE: dispute dr
are you sure it is from the work comp carrier?
the comp policy insures the employer not you or any employees.
work comp has no long term disability plan; those are usually private plans sold to individuals and not subject to work comp laws.

as far as your comp claim, changing jobs has little effect.
