RE: Prayers for my sister
Thank you everyone.

I decided not to go to Wichita today, I just am not to good at turning the head yet with driving so my driving in still limited. It would take a lot of in town driving to get to her home from where I live.

She was feeling a little better this morning, she goes to Kansas City tomorrow to the Lied Transplant Center Outreach Program. The doctors want to visit with my sister about a new medication on the market for treatment of Hep C.

Right now she is to sick to start treatment but we hope it is in her future.

RE: Prayers for my sister
An update on my sister........

Her appointment was Tuesday with the outreach transplant center in Kansas City. When I first started this post we learned my sister had MRSA, that along with being a transplant patient result in her being very ill.

The family was told things did not look good and to expect my sister to be transported by ambulance to Lied Transplant Center in Nebraska.

At Tuesday's appointment things went very differently than expected, the IV meds my sister has been taking for the MRSA is working and her new liver is functioning well. A new medication has recently come out on the market for Hep C, the doctors decided against putting my sister on the new meds as her liver is working well.

Thank you forum family for you prayers.
