Yep, I was just 4 weeks out of hospitol, confined to wheel chair, and a walker to do transfers from bed to chair. It was assisted transfers, and the gait belt slipped while turning, I started to fall and caught my self,,, I had pt the following morning and told him and told him I was having pains in the down stairs area.. He rejected pt, and said I need to see my dr before I could return.. Nothing more then pulled muscles but had to make sure all hardware was intact....

No, it was just pulled muscles. There was nothing to gain from doing, but was doccumented in case of further problems..

RE: hurt at home while on w/c
I fell at home over 3 yrs ago because of my work comp injury. It was documented, I was placed on FMLA then terminated 6 months after I fell. Almost 2 yrs later I got a ruling that stated that I fell because of the original work comp injury. I haven't worked since August 30th 2007
