Say an extra prayer tonight for Bummer Knees

It's never easy, I grew up in a home where my half-brother had been mentally ill for as long as I could remember. It was always stressful in our household. It wasn't until I was 9 and he nearly killed my mother that he was finally put into a local hospital in Wichita, there he put a male nurse in the ICU for a few weeks on a vent, nearly killed the man.

When he finally got the help he needed he was 27 yrs old, it took my brother realizing that he needed help to finally get well. He has multiple personalities, he's been stable for about 30 yrs now. He never did move back into our home and we were better for it. My mother never really did recover from all of the abuse.

Bummer I know your heart grieves for her. She needs to realize she needs help, she needs to agree and unfortunately for some that never happens. All we can do is what we're doing all ready, pray for her, lift her up, let her know that we'll always care and pray for her.

that was the way it was here also but in Okla you cannot force anyone to take a med after they turn 18....
