RE: School question
Jayne as far as hobbies goes, I dont seem to have many since injury... I am a hick, pure country boy at its finest, since a child I have alwas been an outdoors person.. I enjoy--enjoyed--- outdoor work, hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, atving, working on cars/trucks fairly handy with a paint gun.... I still interact with some but riding recreational vehicles are over... I have always been my own leader, told what needed to be done, and off on my own doing it... Even though I was considered self employed I fell into a legal loop hole because I delivered thier products.. The only job I had a employer/boss breathing down my neck is when I was 16, Pizza Hut...lol.
But as far as hobbies I do now, not many... I do enjoy landscaping ideas, tree agriculture,.. All may daily hobbies and activities consist of the internet and tv shows... Now that spring is here I will be able to get out and enjoy a bit more...

I went back and finnished up the testing today, another 2 hrs af agony.. I tried doing it with less meds so my brain would function better, what a mistake... Now I'm waiting for the meds to kick in, I doubt going back is going to be the answer unless they can lighten my pain levels without the meds.....

Jayne, we all know what his hobby is............. He is going to have a baby, HELLO???????????

Bronco, now that I have stirred the pot with Jayne. LOL. I am sure there will be something for me to read after class and the dentist tomorrow.

Anyway, I take it, the thought " what the hell am I doing " crossed your mind. I have been there and often have that thought. There is another issue to consider. How much weight can you carry??? Not what the drs. say, but what your body says. Some how you are going to have to transport your books from your vehicle to the class room. Just a thought.

RE: School question
Your are right AQA, I did forget that hobby.. I think I can do that hobby quite well, dont you's think??? lol. My lawyers aid has discussed the baby issue and how wc will pull that into the circle.. We had come up with statements, lol.... It's not mine, she used duct tape, She drugged me.......

But seriously, that peanut is growing well and is getting closer day by day... The grandma's are going crazy, baby has enough clothes to where we could just put a new outfit on and throw the dirty ones away... New crib, pack-n-play, changing table, everyone is just being great... I pulled some totes out that has been packed for 13 years.. Sentimental stuff, that has been in the family, all hand made quilts, blankets, stuffed animals and room decor... Now that it's getting warmer, we are starting the painting of the baby room........We cant wait....JOY..JOY..

Back to the school thing...lol.
Our college is not set up well, even though it has plenty off disabled parking.. They consist of many 2 floor buildings, parking for the first floor is great. 2nd floor is unreal, long stair ways and if you had a wheel chair you have to exit the building and go up around the building on a incline... Forgetfull me, I left my permit in another truck and to park in parking lot about 300 ft away... I almost said screw it, up steps, down steps then up steps. It took me forever just to get to the room I needed, many breaks, once there I was happy to be seated... Thier was not enough meds to ease my pain yesterday, I wont put my self through that again...

RE: School question
Well, I will leave the baby issue alone. I am sure if I don't, one of us will get our hand slapped.

I know what you mean about the stairs. Some of the buildings on one campus have 4 floors. I use the elavators as much as possible.

I mentioned carrying the books and you mentioned the distance of walking. ( It really sucks when my calf muscel stops working in the middle of the parking lot and I have to wave traffic on by me.) You have been saying the same things I did when I started school and I am sure I will be saying them again whan I transfer to the University.

I won't write off the thought of school until you try one semester. I my mind, that is when you will know if you can do it or not. You will be thinking, " I went through all the stuff to get to this point. I have to push myself to see whats going to happen.

Keep in mind that there are internet courses from some schools. Take Care

RE: School question
Most the college courses I have taken in the past 10 years have been online courses. In our area colleges are making available more online courses every semester.
