[Bummer Knees]

Undercover Angel & Randy have been in Kansas the last few days.

We had them over for dinner yesterday in the man cave, and we had a blast. My son expecially enjoyed Randy, perhaps Becky can share about the business transaction Cody & Randy made.

It was a fun evening.

Bummer,

We enjoyed our time with you, D. and Cody ~L~ Randy is still talking about the visit. I just wish y'all hadn't of gone out of your way with the fixin's for supper yesterday. We would have been fine with pizza. Not that I am complaining.. every bite was delicious.

Randy and Cody became the best of buds while we were there. Of course, Randy being a special ed teacher, he is understanding of children and their disabilities. Cody had made wooden knuckles that he got to showing off to Randy.. and by the time they were done playing with them, Randy bought them from Cody, but only if he would put his name on them to make them authentic. Which Cody happily did. Randy has them proudly displayed on the buffet in the dining room at this very moment.

Later on, the three guys went out and collected fresh chicken eggs that were sent home with Randy. Kind of fun trying to transport eggs home in an ice chest ~L~ but they all made it here without breaking. Then Randy tried to teach Cody a little bit of boxing. I think if Cody could have, he would have gotten in the car Saturday and gone back to the motel.

I enjoyed myself as well. Bummer and her husband are great host/hostess. It was very relaxed and we talked about anything and everything that came to mind. I am just sorry that we couldn't have spent more time with them. Although I may be seeing them again the end of next month if the trial is held. Still up in the air... but that is an entirely different post.

Jayne, indeed we did have a good time when all of us were together back in April of last year. And we will get a chance again I am sure. With Randy's granddaughter being in Kansas, I am sure we will be making yearly trips now. And ya never know when/if we might just drop in on y'all there in OK.

Well, it is getting late, and I have been up since 7 am on about 3 hours of sleep, a 5 hour drive home, unloading of the car and putting everything away when we got in. And I have to get the car back by noon tomorrow. UGH!!! I so just want to stay in bed with the covers over my head ~L~

Once again BK, thank you for such a nice evening. I am looking to more in the future with y'all and so is Randy .. who says hello, by the way
