Injured back at work in 2006 then reinjured 2011
hi there,
im new here. In 2006 i injured my lower back l5 area and was granted permanent disability, but, on one of my dr visits I felt fine and told the Dr that i felt like I was well enough to work, he was reluctant to release me but he did. Then in 2011 i hurt my back again at another job, same career and looks like l5 area. My old injury''AGGRAVATION'' time line, runs out March 11/11. Do I contact old W/c as well as new w/c company? Do I need a lawyer? Should I write a letter to OLD W/C telling them I need to reopen case?
please help..I am in Oregon.
Thank you

you should get and sign form 827 from your treating physician. this notifies the carrier of a possible aggravation.
the form is here
