lifting restrictions and settlement questions...
We've got just a few questions before deciding on what to do next.

The restrictions my husband has right now keeps him out of driving his truck. The settlement is just around the corner. There will be nothing else for him as far as retraining from the looks of it.

Let's say we take a settlement offer. Can my husband have his restrictions lifted afterwards? Will it cause any problems by doing so?

ThanksSmile

RE: lifting restrictions and settlement questions...
your husband should discuss settlement options with his atty.
generally a buyout that closes the case probably won't have an effect.
other finalizations may leave a time limit for changing/correcting the disability;
in which case he could receive a new rating that may be lower.
whether there are recapture rights is unknown.

these are legal questions that depend on particular facts in the case and best answered by someone familiar with workers comp case law in your state.
