just got a call from skeeter and sweets made it thru surgery just fine I will call her this afternoon and give you all a report

How long did the surgery take?

I didnt ask skeeter isnt himself when his Sweet isnt by his side they are a matched set.....they worry about each other so

I dont know...I just spoke to Sweets she is up and walking on her knee....she has a nerve block on it so its not hurting yet....she is alert and eating and not in pain....as long as she is getting good pain relief and good grub I am happy....Dr did say the knee was bad and he would be doing the other knee as soon as she was good with this one...

The medical staff will keep on top of the meds to keep her out of pain.

That first day/night of surgery I had a nurse in my room at all times with the room being designed to deal with any type of emergency.

I was given morphine shots in the thigh and that took care of any pain I had.

Getting up and walking is very important after this type of surgery to prevent blood clots.

Hi jayne...I did know she was going to have one the end of February... I came here to see what was happening. I lost her number again as I have a new phone number due to a pending divorce....and the phones were in his name..will explain it all at a later date.. how is everyone..I miss you so, but soon my life will be just wonderful and I will return and enjoy all of your company again. jayne..give me a call when you can. I will send you my new number...ly Red
