WC pay reduction NYS
I have been reduced to 75% disabled by my Dr. WC has requested a hearing to reduce my pay. They have also requested to stop pay and they question my ability to re enter the work force. My hearing is on March 1st, can they stop paying me until the hearing is decided? I get paid bi-weekly and am due a check Monday. (The check usually comes on the Friday before & I did not get one today) This is in NY state. I did office work for 11 years (where all of this happened) & doctor says I cannot go back to that. (typing, filing, phones etc). Who determines "what I can do", the judge, comp board or my doctor?
thank you! |

RE: WC pay reduction NYS
medical evidence is used to obtain a decision from the work comp judge on your comp benefits.
if your disability status has been changed by a doctor then then the comp carrier can change your disability payments. |
