yep this coughing can really hurt my back if I'm not sitting down. I can get to coughing during the night and start seeing white light. I just hope my doctor knows what hes doing, he has all new nursing staff and I'm not sure about them yet

Manley2, I do feel for ya. Pneumonia is nothing to mess with and you need a strong antibiotic that practicaly kills everything.....
I went in to the clinic a few days ago, sinus infection and ear infection, and had problems breathing.... I believe I have bronchitis and maybe a start of pneumonia, I cant quit coughing and hurts to breath. The night befoer I went in I re fractured lower left rib from coughing so hard. He put me on clarithromycin to treat it but isnt getting better. I was hospitalized 2 times from pneumonia last year, and avalox (spelling) was the only antibiotic that worked.....

He gave me augmentin 875-125. This is only day 2 on it and I'm not getting better. Have to get out because this is the last weekend for church pictures so I'm going to try and look my best. Not much sleep last night but thank God we bought a new couch and loveseat with the recliners in the ends. Got some better sleep there then in the bed.
Only thing doc told me was after the 10 days on the meds if it was not better to call them back

Hi y'all

It's been absolutetly gorgeous here. Highs in the low 80's and lots of sunny shine. We have windows and doors open and have been able to take dumb son to school in the morning without a heater being required in the car.

Jayne, I would love just some regular red tomatoes (red cherry also). I've already told Randy that we are going to do a container garden on the front porch this year. I am also going to totally redo the front/side yard (burn off dead grass/weeds and any seeds) and reseed with new grass. I am also going to redo the front gardens and get my rose bushes in (raising the beds so I can sit on a small stool and work in them without hurting my legs or back).

Manley and Bronco.. sounds like both of you need to be here in TX. It's 71 degrees here at the moment. With your coughing, there is a little trick I learned after having had a c-section. Keep a pillow handy, and when you feel the cough coming on, hold it to your mid-secction. This helps to relieve some of the pain and pressure from the coughing.

Hope y'all enjoy the weekend. I am taking dumb son out to practice parallel parking, as he can now legally get his icense. I just want him to be able to do the parking, as it, to me is the hardest thing to learn. Luckily most of our parking here in town isn't that kind .. just in front of where we have to get our car tags .. I got smart this year and ordered mine on the internet. Should be here the end of the week.
