The old redneck and the auto accident

While on the way to school this morning (8:00 am.). An older gentleman ran a red light and hit the driver side rear tire area of the truck. While I was spinning around in the intersection of the highway access road (some call it a feeder road). I noticed a small compact car also spinning around and the truck that hit me was stopped. While trying to control the spin I was in. I could not help but notice that I lost my breaks. Once I noticed that I yelled F___!!!!!! I must of yelled that real loud because a wittness said they heard that while I was spinning. I then tryed the emegency brake and it did not work. I then jammed the transmission into park. At that time the truck was comming out of the spin halfway on the access road and the grass.

Needless to say, it took me a minute or two to regain my mental composure. I put the transmission in drive and noticed that I still did not have breaks. After turning the ignition off and back on. the breaks worked again. (A serious design flauw in my mind). I know that I want my breaks to wok if I get hit.

Anyway, I drove the wrong way on the access road and made my way across the four lanes of traffic and pulled up behind the truck that hit me. As I got out and was ready to kick his a__. I noticed that he had a child in the back seat of his truck. So I had to adjust my attitude. I personally don't think that is something a child should see. Fortunately the child was in a car seat that has strapped in, in the back seat.

I called the police and while waiting for them. I started talking with the gentelman that hit me. It was then that we noticed the small compact car took off. I think I grazed it. That is the only way I can explain the minor front end damage ( a dented license plate and about an inch or two of paint damage).

When the police showed up. Another driver showed up and gave the police the license plate number of that vehicle. While the police was questioning us about the accident. I could not resist calling him a stupid son of -----------------. He was bound and determined that me and the the guy that hit me were drunk. Remind you, this is 8:00 am.

Well I spent the next two hours on the phone with two insurance carriers, a tow company and enteprise rent a car.

Due to my disablity, I have to have something that sits a little higher off the ground than a car. So I got truck. While picking it up and dealing with a little wet behind ear runny nose twit. That got upset because I did not want the extra insurance he tried selling me on. He decided he would raise his voice to me about the condition it should be return in and that there was no smoking allowed in the vehilcle. Well, this old redneck had, had enough for one day. I politely told (the little wet behind the ear, runny nose twit). " That I will return the vehicle in the same condition I received it in, if not better, and as far as not smoking in it goes". I then walked to the drivers door, lit a cigarette, got in the truck and drove off.

So, how was everyone elses Monday?????

well my honey had two drs app. in two different citys !!i thought it was bad untill i read yours maybe tomorrow will be better lollol

I went and got a new washer....a power surge last week took out both my washer and dish washer.....I cant afford to replace both.....so the washer got bought with income tax money.....the girls wanted to know when the dishwasher would be replaced.....I told them when they left home....
I also got in alot tomato seeds all heirloom and have another 150 on order.....no I dont plan on planting thousands of tomatos but I do plan on putting in about 400.....the kids will weed and help take care of them..sell the maters and buy their own school clothes next year...keeps them busy.....and they know the value of a dollar and lots of good tomatos to eat....the ones I order are the "different" ones yellow,white,striped,green just different than what you can buy in a store or other farmers market stand...there is also a really good market here for heirloom seedlings...

AQA, the main thing is were glad your ok............. I have also had a bad day, found out wc is halting all treatments untill they finnish reviewing my files.. 2 days before another injection, perfect timming... Last week we filed our taxes, and lost over 3,000 this year because Being on wc for 6 months put us in a lower tax bracket....
