Yep, a real live genuine VERIZON iPhone. It was delivered Monday. Huge improvement over the old one, and even bigger improvement in the carrier! Hope you get yours soon!

We lost our oldest cat a couple weekends back. Very sudden; she became very ill on a Sunday afternoon, and we had to put her down that evening. She would have been 17 next month. Because the cat we adopted in July is a very social cat, we went to the humane society to adopt another.

Long story short, we ended up adopting two cats, one on Saturday and another we picked up yesterday. I just found this video online on the “special kitty” we adopted yesterday, Coal. I had no idea this video existed.

I also received my iPhone on Monday just 1 hour before I was due at an investment group meeting. It was hard to leave. I love it! It does everything but the dishes, but I'm sure I could get an app to start the dishwasher! Did you get 32 or 16? I went all out and got the 32. It is quickly fusing to my hand as I can't put it down. Oh, this site is on my home screen.

Oh, I'm sorry about your older cat. My older cat had a stroke or something and became a "different" cat overnight. I let her out to clean up a mess and never saw her again. That was over 3 months ago. I'm sure it was her time to go to kitty heaven.

My newest cat thinks I'm his kitty girlfriend and keeps giving me those love bites. Ouch! He's so sweet, sable black long hair with copper penny eyes. I call him "mean kitty" now and intend on posting his misbehavior to youtube one of these days. He takes on my 80+ pound dog and makes him cry.

Coal looks like a really nice kitty. I hope you have many many good years with him. Congrats!

32 gig is impressive. I am sure it will come in handy! I got the 16 gig phone. My old one was 16 gig and I never had more than 8 or 9 gig on it. My iPad is 32 gig, as I load movies for those long flights (and that was the only size in stock when I got it)....

I added the hotspot feature to my phone, since my iPad is wireless only. I did not get the 3G iPad since I have a Verizon mi-fi air card, but I have had numerous occasions where I had the iPad and not the card - and needed internet. This will fix that problem.

It was funny, I stayed home Monday since I did not want to miss the delivery. (signature required. You miss that and you're looking at a day or two before you can pick it up). My wife came home about 1 and I went to the office, so she met the FedEx guy. He told her everyone must have iPhone fever, because in all his years delivering, he had never had so many people waiting at home to sign on a first delivery attempt. LOL

Keep an eye on mean kitty... Maybe you could post a pic from your new phone. After all, the flash is amazing!

Just pray it never breaks. My 4th one is on it's way to me but the first 3 were within the 30days so I could swap at Best Buy. Now if it's within one year you have to get them right from Apple. Two choices there, call them and they will send you a box to ship your phone back to them. Wait for them to check it over and fix it and ship back or ship a new one. Not sure how long all that would take but I thinking atleast a week. Second is pay them Full price of the new phone plus $29 for over night service and if they get the phone back they will credit you the full price but keep the $29. One thing to watch out for, if you don't return the phone within 10 days they charge you an extra $150 late fee. Well there is one other way to do it but you have to be near an Apple store then you can walk in and get a replacement phone from them. Doesn't seem like too good a deal to me but what else can you do. Just a note to I don't think the new Verizon iPhones are selling like they think. Was at the local Best Buys yesterday and since the Verizon one came out they have only sold 10

Wow, bad experience with the phone. I've had one for well over two years, and only had one issue with the wireless feature, but Apple took care of it. These are not rugged phones, and will break if abused or dropped. You have to treat them with a little respect.

My phone has only been out of it's otterbox case from the time they took it out of the box and put in the sim card and it has never been dropped. One was replaced because right out of the box the mic didn't work and found out they had several in that shippment that had the same problem. It's just sad the way apple does the replacement, a guy on ssdi doesn't have an extra $700 sitting around to let apple hold onto for a week or two
