;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: Winter weather
We had record setting cold temps this morning with the temp being minus 17, add the wind chill to that and it makes for a cold morning.

RE: Winter weather
I feel guilty, My wife leaves for work while I'm in bed sleeping and with theses temps. It was 28 below in land-O-lakes wi where she drives through...... I would attempt to go with here but she is employed by the same employer I am. And being out on medical leave would hinder my wc and cause all kinds of problems to boot....

RE: Winter weather
Jayne you think the stairs may cause a problem while I am recovering?
My office & computer is downstairs, also a family room, kids bedroom, bath & garage.

It took about a week after the TKR before I could do the stairs (12 steps)
Bronco there have been plenty of complaints made to the school district because they held school today with the temps being as low as they were.

There was some problems with the school buses, but I believe that was about it.

RE: Winter weather
That is so foolish, What about the kids that are out waiting in this cold and the bus is broke down.... They talk all this saftey but really thier only concern is the money. I believe in policies but some of thier reasoning is just outrages and very dangerous for our kids.......

As you can tell, I am so against our school system here and would not hesitate for a second to over turn the system....
