Quick question about a "notice of ability to return to work"?

I received a noticed that the workers comp doc said I am able to return to work, can workers comp stop the payments based on this report or does it have to go back to WC court and be decided by a judge? I live in Philly PA,, Can anyone give me some isight of what usually happens?

thanks!

Additional information
I really need to know if they can stop payments based on this letter? I have two doctors saying two different things, one that supports my claim and the other the WC doc that pretty much wrote a ruthless report doubting my injury is work related.

edit- i been collecting WC for several months now. - end edit

RE: Quick question about a "notice of ability to return to work"?
The Notice of Ability to Return to Work alone is not a bases to stop payment of benefits in PA. It is,however, a necessary document before the employer can move forward with certain vocational activity which would be targeted at reducing or eliminating your wage loss benefits. If you have an attorney, you should make sure he is aware of this document. If you do not have an attorney, this would be a good time to contact one. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any further questions.
