RE: witness statements
I had seen my employer, get 2 employee's to state a person swore they were hurt at home, then came to work the next day, and waited till 3:30PM to say he hurt his back. That is a form of a witness report. I also made a report for the person, for I was helping him, when he became injured, in fact I heard a noise from his back, and that terrible cry of pain. Mine was dis reguarded.

RE: witness statements
Hi,
I took a spread eagle after slipping in a puddle of spilled acetone. I fell directly behind 3 people standing with their backs to me, and almost took out one of the guys with my feet hitting his... I landed on top of a 5 gallon open bucket of thinner and splashed all 3 people & myself with it's contents. I lit flat on my back with my leg bent in half backwards. One of the people I almost knocked down, the first words out of his mouth were "did you break your leg?" I replied I wasn't sure & he helped me up. Since it was movable I didn't think I had broken anything, but  I had an immediate bruising , road rash and huge hematoma on my elbow where I hit the bucket. My knee was twisted so bad I could barely walk. When it came time to talk about wittnesses...the guy who helped me up said "She supposedly had a slip & fell down" insinuating that I faked a fall. Guess who is still working there (he is)....and guess who's unemployed? (me) back stabbing and undermining co-workers are royal pri*** ! I didn't break my leg, but tore the meniscus which required surgery, and I fractured my elbow and a rib. Guess who was at work the next day? Me. I didn't get sent to the MD until a couple days after the accident...MD had me stay home one day...then it was back to work without restrictions...knee surgery followed a year later. By the way...my accident report said no wittnesses, and suggested I pay more attention to what I was doing! Nothing was mentioned about sloppy houskeeping Lilly Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!! A careless word may kindle strife, a cruel word may wreck a life, a timely word may level stress, and a loving word may heal and bless! |

RE: witness statements
Hi all...in my case there were no witnesses and yet two crawled out of the woodwork. When they testified I was there and had to laugh because all they talked about was my personality. It was a factual depo and yet no facts were stated. What a joke it became. My attorney couldn't believe that I actually worked with people like this. Happens all the time with my supervisor. They find people who will lie. If they saw the accident they say they didn't and if they didn't they say they did. I think they get a hand out for it because it's happened so many times.
CAP God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |
