MSA
I have just gotten approval and a judges signature for a wcmsa that is to be self administered. I have had part of the initial seed money (the numbers of the originally proposal was doubled by DHHS) for over a year and still have not gotten the second part of that money. On Feb 3, 2011 i am also to start getting the first installment that I am to get for the next 42 years. I have yet to report anything to anyone as I have not ever had all of anything that I was supposed to have. What happens to me when I don't report?

Gigi

RE: MSA
the terms of the self-administered agreement should spell out if you have to report and when to report what.
if you don't have it, contact cms.

Good luck to me. I have contacted them and they haven't wanted to assist me. So i wonder what is to happen to me if I don't do what I am supposed to do because i don't know what to do exactly. Can i get into any major trouble? My attorney doesn't even have any good answers and neither does the opposing sides attorney. They just gave me 2 pages copied that you can barely read that don't really make any sense.

But if that is all the information that you have... thanks!

RE: MSA
the only general reporting requirement is yearly unless the agreement stipulates otherwise.

Claimant should submit an annual self-attestation form when monies have been exhausted.
