Time Limit
I had my D.I.M.E. back on the 7th of May 2007 and have still not heard or received any info from the DIME Dr. My attorney says that he has not sent the report into w/c and there is nothing we can do to hurry him up. Is there anyting I/we can do to get this Dr. to get the report into the w/c commission?

RE: Time Limit

Morning golfbum... I doubt there is anything anyone can do but persist. Mine wasn't sent in until both attorneys, mine and the IC"s, pestered the IME for 3 months as to where his report was. He was on my side and I felt that was the hold up.

RE: Time Limit
The is no time limit on a IME Report, unless it is ordered up through the Legal system. Sorry your having these delays.

it depends on whether this is common in your state's work comp system. if it is, then you are in the same boat as many others and only major changes by the legislators or administrators can help.
If it's rare and unusual then there maybe a couple options (for your atty -not you)
Wink
(from your atty's response it sounds like the former.)

:)have your attorney schedule the doctors deposition and have him give his opinion under oath.
just write them off and have another scheduled. the first doctor won't get paid.
