My biggest fear happened today. We had ice this morning. When I was driving to work I called to let my husband know it was much worse than the news was saying. I suggested he stay home. After WC gave him a hard time over missing the snow days and said he wouldn't be paid if be didn't go in, he attempted to go. He ended up falling on the ice. I was almost to work and turned around and came home. He is sore but doesn't think he caused any damage to the hardware. It was a huge scare for both of us. I called the dr's office to see if he should come in but I also let her know the dr needs to add a restricion that he shouldn't attempt to go to work or drive in the weather. This is just crazy to risk at this point in his recovery. A minor accident could do major damage. The rep at the dr's office seemed to agree as well but I know it will be the dr who decides. She was going to put a call into the dr and WC and call me back. Well I haven't received a call yet. I did have a voice mail on my phone from WC but she thought she was calling his boss! Apparently calls are being made back and forth and WC confussed my cell with his boss's cell #. Had common sense had been used when we had the snow and realized he should drive and pay him this accident would of never happened. He would of not attempted to leave the house.

And when I called the dr the she said the office that he's at was under ice and we may not want to go. We live 10 min from it so know how bad it was out.

Grrrrrr
