I think there are apps that do that, plus Apple has a service that allows you to locate missing iPhones and iPads. You can even disable them remotely if they are lost or stolen.

RE: iPhone on Verison -- Admin????
Part of what I;m talking about is the alerts are not very loud and you can't set a reminder. My BB bugs me every min if I've missed a call or text message and every 5 mins for email but only on one of the 8 accounts I have going to my BB. Plus the mail is not true push email, some accounts work good but other do not. I do think app's open faster on the iPhone and yes it has more app's but there are allot of them out there most people would never use. You know it seems like allot of folks that use and stay with BB do it because of BBM, why doesn't apple come up with something like it?

RE: iPhone on Verison -- Admin????
Why in the world would I want a phone that bugs me every 5 minutes for email? Do you have any idea how much email I get? It's true, from what I understand BlackBerry mail is superior. That is not a big deal to me, personally. I don't want those reminders. I want to determine when I get email, not have email hound me on its terms. I am too connected as it is.

RE: iPhone on Verison -- Admin????
read consumer reports on the phone and they suggest it isnt a good buy right now....to many bugs not worked out......think I will wait and let you all tell me how it goes first...
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: iPhone on Verison -- Admin????
That is why it is only one account. On that one I don't want to miss an email, the others can wait. The iphone make a short little noise when you get an email and if it's not super quiet when that happens you miss it. The last thing I want to do is have to pull my phone out every few mins when I'm waiting on an email. Plus with setting the light to blink for different people I can just look down at it and see who it's from
