For all of you that have snow
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: For all of you that have snow
Many of us great white northerners can relate to this.... I would give the snow up in a heart beat if I could just walk away from all the drama and drs.

RE: For all of you that have snow
Where we live here, we have not had that much snow fall in a long time... If you go one county north ( vilas county ) the northern part does get 2 feet in a 24 hr period, the are part of the snow belt.. I can remember years ago, about 11-12 years old riding with my dad up into the U.P.. They would get so much snow and the city could not keep up, the stores actually tunneled a pathway from the streets.... We dont get snow like that anymore and thank god. But back then our lakes and rivers were full of water, and our wells were not going dry......

RE: For all of you that have snow
I am in the midwest part of the country. We have not had any snow so far this winter, although this morning and most of the day we had ice on the ground.
Snow I can deal with, but ice I will stay inside. My cane just dosn't do to well on ice. |

I agree bummer, ice is the worst....... They do make a flip out cleet that slips on the bottom of the cane, makes a huge difference. I use it when my leg pain is high, also make a slip on cleet for shoes..... |

RE: For all of you that have snow
That is news to me, cleet for a cane? Laughing!
I'd rather just stay inside with the ice on the ground. |
