Illinois Workers comp act changes

Hello!

Is anyone aware that legislation to be voted on next week in Illinois' House of Representatives will severely alter rights of injured workers? I just heard this from my former PT company, and they asked me to call my rep to ask he votes no to it. It's packaged in another bill- and I'm trying to find the info now. Highlights are that they want to eliminate a pre-existing condition clause, let employers send you to their doctors only, limit medical treatment, payouts and settlements! Bad News! Call your State Representative and ask them to vote NO! I'll post any new info as I find it.
