Now I'm really confused
I live in New York State. I have AVN of the ankle. My IME gave me a rating of 50%. I went to WC IME who said I was not at MMI. Suggested I seen an orthopedic. Went to orthopedic...gave me an injection. Relief was great but only lasted 3 weeks. In meantime I went to a Hearing. No MMI yet. Went to Dr. today. Will ask for approval for another injection. I told him about my SLU hearing. He said I am not at MMI yet...Right now I'm at 17%!!!!!!!!! How can he say that??? Anyway I have missed one week of work and I can go back to work with an air cast and wheelchair. Injection to be scheduled in near future. When will I be at MMI???

RE: Now I'm really confused
MMI is not a fixed point in time.
it's solely up to a physician's opinion as to when a patient has reached maximum medical improvement. |
