filling a claim for a knee injury of unknown cause
I was at work and stood up after sitting for a couple of hours doing computer work and could not straighten my leg or bear weith without being in pain. I did not file a workers comp claim because even though the situation happened at work I did not do anything that I even remotely recall that would have caused an injury. By the way I have an extensively torn meniscus in that knee. My husband feels that it is a workers comp issue because I didnt have pain or anything before I sat down so I must have stood up funny in his eyes. Any thoughts? Is it too late it claim it? It happened 2 weeks ago?

it's not too late to file a claim but you need to know what the doctor believes is the cause. comp won't pay based on your husband say so.
see a doctor and file a claim depending on what the doctor's findings will support.

Big Grin

I understand. not all injuries are clear cut work accidents.
some injuries are complex and require medical skill to determine the cause.
it's important to get medical help first then decide whether to file a claim and have comp billed or your health insurance.
be well
Cool
