When i expect to close the case?

I have a question and need your advice.

I injured my neck in June 2008. In May 2010, doctor said that i don't need to come to the office. In August 2010, he send a report for PD rating.

Is anyone know how long i have to wait usually to close the case for lum sum payment?
My lawyer said i have to wait. That's all my lawyer's answer.

without knowing the issues I cannot guess.
there is no time limit.
...but there are things that may start something.
generally when attys have to be in court they find the time to prioritize those tasks.
get a court date.
or consider changing attys
